I was heading downtown today when I saw this strange mobile object scooting across the plaza near 16th/Mission BART station. I wasn’t sure if it was a handicap person or an escaped amusement park worker. I finally caught up with him heading into Burger King… I followed quickly behind, doing everything I could to keep from chuckling. NOT at the fact that he may have a genuine disability, but at the fact that he is cruising around in this Barnum & Bailey-meet’s-the-lil’-rascal-meet’s-train-engineer-a-la-arcade-mode mobile. It’s a strange juxtaposition near the King which makes this image very surreal.
