I didn’t see it at all. I recently got an apartment in the North Of the Panhandle area, and did some exploring around the city for a couple days to get a taste of my future home. I always heard that people in San Francisco are rude, bad drivers, etc… But I didn’t see any of that. Everywhere I went, I had great conversation, met some great, unique people, and the drivers didn’t seem that bad either. I walked the Tenderloin and drove around the BayView and Hunters Point area to get a taste of the more unsavory parts of the city, and I can honestly say, it wasn’t too bad. Hunters Point was a little sketchy, but I didn’t feel unsafe (In a car). I’ve spent most of my life in Chicago, but it doesn’t have the personality of San Francisco. Awesome people, so much food options, they say it’s a sleepy city, but the night life was comparable to any big city that I’ve visited and lived in. You really feel alive in San Francisco!
