They say that marijuana can save the California economy – seeing that it is the largest cash crop in the Golden State, bringing in over $14BILLION a year in sales. This completely dwarfes the second cash crop (milk & cream) by a whopping $7Billion.
Maybe after the nomination of Gil Kerlikowske as head of Washington’s Office of National Drug Control Policy will help soften the line and rhetoric against this crop.
