Today, June 18th, marks the official release of Iron Heart’s 23.5oz selvedge denim jeans.

These particular jeans, were made in a limited batch worldwide and only 60 of them are going to be released at local denim store Self Edge. Iron Hearts denim is all Zimbabwean long fiber denim, and are produced on 30″ shuttle looms.

To celebrate their 5th anniversary Iron Heart wanted to produce an item that would last literally for years. This particular denim is unsanforized – which means they will shrink some after wash & wear.

Most jeans that you & I wear weigh in at around 13-15oz, whereas with these jeans they start out at a rigid 21oz and then after being soaked come out at 23.5oz.  This particular model from Iron Heart would probably take at least a year of wear before they even broke in.

So if you’re a die hard denim fan, looking for a pair of some serious rugged jeans – head over to Self Edge today because these are gonna sell out fo’ sheezy.
